Simple: Does DmC actually look easier than 3 and 4 do?

I'd really like your opinions. Those who have played it would be most welcome.

Well considering it has a mode where you can die from one hit, yeah, I'm guessing it'll have some challenge

And I think they mentioned it not being as hard as a 3 but still being tough. I can't remember i was ages ago since I saw the video where it said that.

Can't really tell from videos and not having played the game. My friend played it when she went to Eurogamer *jealousjealousjealous* and she said it was quite hard.

She also never got past Mission 4 in DMC1 :/

*least helpful post ever*

Just putting this out there:

It looks easier than DMC3 because enemies won't attack you if you can't see them and because Dante has much greater mobility.

It looks harder than the first half of DMC4 because pressing circle (B) isn't infinite stun and kill.

HO HO HO it looks like a very good challenge, possibly more challenging than the previous ones, dare i say, more challenging than dmc 3
Sorry Santa, and I know I am so going on your naughty list for this, but I call bullshit.

I grew up with Battletoads on my uncles old NES, and DMC 1 and 3 still kicked my ass.

I guess we shall get a taste of the difficulty once the demo hits in a couple of weeks.

Maybe I download it for PS3 if mine ISP not try to play not nice and slow down internet speed, recent one maked me drop activity on consoles as updates even downloaded on hours estimated time.

I think it's going to be hard like DMC 1, but not to the point where you want to throw away the controls, lol.

DMC 1 could be really hard, I had a hard time getting used to the controls. After playing classic RE games, things were even worse, lol.

I just remember how bad I used to be in DMC 1. Combos? Forget them, I didn't even know you could make different ones, depending on timing used for attacks.

I suddenly started making different moves suddenly. I did million stab and so on, without even knowing how. Then I discovered that I was playing easy automatic mode, lol. You just smashed the attack button and you didn't even need to worry about timing combos.

Then I started playing normal and I got lost. Where where my amazing combos from before? I wanna impale a marionette like 20 times with my Alastor. :)

Then I started playing and testing the controls until i noticed such time combinations. Yeah, for those who don't know DMC, starting with the first game can be pretty tough.

That's why i think they're trying to get a wider audience for DmC. Not easy as DMC 2, but not hard as DMC 1 and 3.

looks easier for me , just pulling yourself to enemies makes it easy plus air time is infinity and you can stay in the air till you kill the enemy then pull another one and keep doing it.

Greg actually said it takes alot of skill to stay in the air as well as some of the people here who have played the game, so don't be fooled by it looking easy. :)

For the people who say you've got infinite airtime, that is only if you know the controls in and out.
And even if you got that, when you don't time your moves right you'll fall like a stone to the ground.
Same goes for DMC 3 and 4 with jump cancelling, if you don't time it right you can not do it.
The only difference this time around is that you have more moves to stay airborn, so that there is no need to use
a glitch in the system to do it.

It only looks easy because some people here haven't played it yet. You can't tell something is easy simply by looking at it. With the game mechanics to learn, trying to make sure you let enough time pass in the pause combos while in the air to make sure you don't fall, remembering that this is not the past DMC games when playing game mechanics, and being able to preform different attacks with different weapons, yeah this game is harder then it looks.

When people play the demo, they'll see for themselves.

Also, the enemies are just standing there in most gameplay vids because it's on EASY mode.
