If you find Sanctus to be as frustratingly difficult as i used to, here are some tips. First of all DO NOT use the Devil Bringer to get close to him. stay on the ground until you are right under him then jump up and slash away. If you use the DB to get close to him he will almost always dodge. Also a tip that is useful in all situations and definitely on sanctus is - set your pistol attack to R2, a button that is not used for Nero, and ALWAYS have it held down and be charging a shot.(its much easier to use R2 than to try and hold Square and slash with triangle.) right when you get sanctus on the ground go DT and shoot him with the level 3 charge shot and then proceed to slash and buster him as normal. These tips may be obvious to some but I hope they help a few. I know for me sanctus was the hardest boss hands down but now i can beat him in DMD with no items in only a few minutes. Good Luck
