Things you've learned from video games

People often make the mistake that games rot you're brain. This is not true. You can learn lots from playing video games! What are some of the things you've learned?

Prehaps the most important lesson I've learned;

War. War never changes. Neither does Call of Duty.

Other important lessons,

1. If someone is bragging about how many awards they have won, just tell them how many Trophies you have.
2. Square Enix doesn't know what they are doing.
3. Trying to understand the story in Kingdom Hearts will hurt you're brain.
4. You will never understand the story in Kingdom Hearts.
5. Lightning's a bitch.
6. You can never eat to many chips while playing Oblivion.
7. Sly Cooper gives anthros a good name.
8. When in doubt, reboot.

Those are mine. ^_^ What about you guys? ^_^

I agree to number 6. Easily.

I've learned english from video games. All school's english class is doing is repeating what I've already learned.

I've learned about perspectives, honor, hatred and pride from games as well.

God how 3 and 4 of what you said Meg is SO true! I stopped playing the game after KH2 because I was lost! But i learned manners, how to be polite yet strong, and how to escape from reality.

I gotta agree 1 and 8 with you meg.

People can actually earn a lot of money by playing competitively in videogames.
1. Go to South Korea
2. Lose in a Tournament
3. ???
4. Profit!!!
^^it's an old phrase, but i don't think that quote was original. Of course, even America and some countries in Europe also earn money if you play.

I remember when some adults and some teachers kept saying that videogames are bad for you and it will never get you anywhere with money. I love to go back in time and tell them in their faces.:p

I agree that CoD never changes. Here are some of the other things I've learned.

1.Football never changes and neither does Madden
2.Koei is running out of ideas
3.(Like Meg said) Square Enix doesn't have a clue
4.Anime based games are usually decent at best
5.Apparently it's always someone else's fault if you die while playing multiplayer, the fact that you just suck is never an option
6.Capcom LOVES DLC
7.Lag is frustrating but should not be completely blamed for a loss (unless it's absolutely terrible)
8.Capcom REALLY LOVES DLC
9.You are 10 times more likely to lose in a fighting game if you are playing on PSN
10.First Person shooters are the easiest games to make
11.Did I mention that Capcom is head over heels for DLC?
12.Video games are always more fun if you don't take them seriously

2. Play a Starcraft 2 tournament
3. Win
4. ??????
5. Profit!
