Kept you waiting, huh?
Imagine the scene for a moment, a beautiful, Victorian-era inn sits on the edge of a cliffside, overlooking the vast blue ocean. The setting sun casts an orange twilight over the old building.
Perfect green grass stretches as far as the eye can see, the land is abundant with forests, woodland animals roam the woods in search of the next meal to keep them alive, this beautiful land is entirely untouched by any outside influence, pure, perfect and serene...
The perfect place to call home for the characters we all proudly lay claim to.

Okay then, in my years of roleplaying one of my favourite fixtures and features that I've come across is the Roleplayer's Inn, basically the theory behind it is this.
All characters that anyone owns are more than welcome to take up residence in this permanent living space of sorts, our characters are free to interact with each other, forming friendships, bonds and relationships.
Consider it a sort of hub for our characters between roleplays, although characters who are currently in roleplays are more than welcome to join in as well.
The Roleplayer's Inn has no plot line, you are free to do whatever you want here, interact with who you want and you are free to go absolutely anywhere in expansive realm.
There are many prominent features in the Roleplayer's Paradise. Below the cliff face lies a calm, tranquil beach, any beach games that characters want to participate in can be done here, ie: Beach volleyball, swimming etc.
Another feature is the Roleplayer's Forest, this forest encompasses approximately half of the realm, it's entirely unexplored, so whatever you find there is entirely up to you.
Right in the heart of the realm is the battle arena, here your characters can go to fight, be it to call upon monsters to hone their combat skills or to settle arguments between characters. I will have you know that this is the ONLY place where battles between characters can take place.
Think of it initially as a Roman Colosseum, however, during the course of a conflict, the battleground will warp and change itself to fit the needs of the combatants.
Then there's the Inn itself, the very heart and soul of the realm, it is here that our characters live, eat and sleep, it's essentially TARDIS-like in nature, that is, it's smaller on the outside than it is on the inside.
Rooms can be added and removed at the need of each individual character, so for example, if one character wanted a swimming pool in the Inn, then they're more than welcome to just will it into life.
Such is the magic of the Roleplayer's Inn.
What you do here is up to you, you are more than welcome to create your own adventures within the realm and go off exploring with the friends your characters have made.
There are a couple of rules that should be observed beyond the normal roleplaying regulations however.
1: No character is able to die in the Roleplayer's Paradise, if you want to kill them off, please do so in a roleplay, there shall feature a graveyard in the Paradise in the event that someone does die.
2: Battles between characters can ONLY take place in the Battle Arena, I'm dead serious about this, it's there for a reason, do whatever you want in the realm itself, but if you want combat between characters, take it to the arena.
That's about it really, so in closing, I'd like to remind you all of one thing, and should this see frequent use, I'll sticky it and make it a permanent fixture.
So yeah, the last thing?
It's your world! You're free to do absolutely anything!
