THE PROLOGUE

For me the prologue is the must important thing in a game....so thats another way to say that this is going to be a bad@ss start to an awesome game:)....dmc1 had a gr8 one so as dmc3 so this one should have a gr8 prologue too.....:) so i had this idea on how i want it to be.....

I'd like to see sparda at first fighting with mundus we play a little bit as sparda.... so when mundus is down he tells sparda that if he dies than so will his family and that demons are on there way his home....where eva and his too sons are (dante and vergil)....so he leaves the battle and runs to them.....then they show us eva is in the house doing a meal for her kids (who are in the back yard playing with wooden swords) and then the demons smash there way in.....eva fights them off for a while and when dante and vergil rush to the back door to see what has happened....eva looks to them and tells them to run...at that moment a demon strikes her down and kills her...so vergil tells dante come on you heard what she said lets go....and while there runing we can play as them just running from the demons and while there about to catch them the screen turns black and some one yells (EVA NOOOO)....and dante wakes up sweating and doesnt remember a thing......

so thats how i'd like it to be....and im sure you guys have much more gr8 ideas so dont be shy and give me your thoughts of how you'd what it to be :):D *thx for reading and hope it wasnt boring :)*

I like it. It's like a breif history of Dante's life as a kid that the old DMC never really showed. It's a good way to show what's up. However I think the "Sparda fighting Mundus" part shouldn't be in his dreams cuase how would Dante know about Sparda fighting Mundus?

Another thing I thought of with your story is this;

"mommy, how come I don't have white hair like daddy's?" Dante asked with his lisp to his mother. Eva piced Dante up, and sat him on her lap as she rocked in her chair and said, "Because, daddy will always be here to help us."
"But what if he isn't anymore?" Dante said.
"Then yours will be white, and when it does, you'll be big and strong."
"Me too?" Said another boy who was named Vergil
"Of course, Vergil. You too." Then both were on their mother's lap as she said, "Both of you will grow into something great. I know you will. promise me something though you two."
"Yes?" Both said simotaniously. To which Eva had tears streaming from her eyes as she said, "Run."
"What?" Dante said, "Mommy, what do you mean by- -"
"Please run and hide!" Eva yelled more forcefully to which the twins did so.


Disregaurd the "Vergil a secret" part.;)
 
All of this should be happening in Dante"s dream and should not be very straight forward. The colour scheme used should be different It should be colourful when eva talks to the kids and dark when she is killed. In the end they show a drop of eva's blood drop on the eye of a teddy bear and Dante wakes up .

that isnt bad at all :)
 
then after all thats happened dante gets up and demons from all of the 5 games start appearing and he imagines himself fighting alongside vergil ad sparda while mundus watches :D
 
before he wakes up, you get images appearing on screen, kinda fast-paced like a fast-forward. you just get glimpses of his life in an orphanage. only glimpses because he doesn't remember much himself. Then he wakes up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night

seems to me he wakes up after getting laid instead:troll:
 
and at the end of the big fight he gets eaten by a rebooted leviathan from dmc 3 leading to a sequel
