You best believe ninja theory is watching their customers. Let um hear it. Constructive, mechanical or narrative comments only. No griping about what is-- only what needs improved.

Characters and combat and plot is slightly unrefined how could we make it better?

Starting
Nt-- I hope in the next dmc you " flesh out" the weapons further.
Other dmc's always romanced the weps (figurative and literally once)

Would have loved if rebellion and the arbiter had an epic cut scene being used by Sparta.
Would have been siiiiick if Dante scythed a bajillion demons.

Just a tiny bit of history and an overly over the top acquire scene is present in all games

Why not DmC?

Characters were fine the way they were.

I would like to see some more over the top action though. Come on NT. Really go for it with the action.:)

Please be more specific. Describe where how and what you consider action. If you communicate generally. You will get general results.

Like some more sword fighting cutscenes, and some bullet time shot cutscenes. Where the bullet travels out the gun in slow motion before hitting its impossible to hit target.

Things I'd like IF they make DmC2:

- More writers. The writing was fun in places, and weak in others. I expected a bit more, what can I say.
- Fewer cutscenes. For example, when ripping out the Demon CCTV, they could have easily just made so you have to destroy the floating eye the same way you do with the Lost Souls.
- Do away with the Demon Dodge. Replace it with Just Guard. DO NOT GRANT EXTRA STYLE POINTS FOR THE ATTACKS DANTE LANDS AFTERWARD.
- Angel Evade could have been better-looking, like Trickster's evade in previous games. It's also kind of weird timing-wise having to press dodge twice. Just a pet peeve.
- More weapons would be fine. To be honest, I'm still learning the ins and outs of DmC's eight.

- While we're on weapons, consider this:
Rebellion is one of the more effective weapons in the game. It's fast; so much so that it's much faster to do another weapon's pause combo if you use it first. It's also fairly strong and can hike the Style Meter up much faster than any angel weapon.
I mean I like the raw power of the Demon weapons and the crowd control of the Angel weapons, but wouldn't it be nice if, like in DMC3 and 4, every weapon was about as fast as Rebellion is now? I have no idea how they'd balance that if they wanted to keep with the Angel/Demon mechanics, but I wouldn't mind seeing Dante swinging around a large hammer as fast as he swings a sword.

Anything else I'm missing?
Take notes, NT.

Twosome time. Don't forget twosome time.

--That monster that Dante was unleashing; I know he's probably a metaphor for Dante's unleashing his powers, but this still seems like something that could be explored, perhaps for both brothers.

--Could fit more attacks on the launcher button, like ->-> or <- -> attacks.

--Hard Lock-on never hurts (though I can sorta see why it wasn't in this game, they kinda crammed as much as they could into the available buttons.

--Kablooey...... after all the mystery... so much disappoint.

--Dante defeats a big demon and gets a new weapon... why? DMC3 had somewhat of a reason; some demons give him power, others seemed to be forced (as with Vergil and Beowulf). Maybe a Highlander kind of thing is going on here? Still could give an explanation on that.

--Angel, neutral, and demon stance abilities could be expanded upon. These are basically your "styles" for DmC afterall.

--There was an entire thread on it, and I agree; Demon Evade should've been Demon Guard; proper parry = attack power-up. Would make Angel evade more unique. Perhaps if they went as far as to make a demon release, you could have weapon specific counterattacks with unique effects. I don't see why this couldn't have went side by side with the sword parry gameplay.

--On the first trailer, Dante used the whip to sling a car into a demon. Wouldn't have minded seeing that in this game, hurling enemies about in a semi- Nero Buster deal.

--Devil Trigger was disappointing for me. Dante has to power to manipulate Limbo, but I was expecting more than just immobilizing the slow-moing enemies, perhaps having different effects depending on which stance you are in. Something to again expand on in the sequel maybe.

--Of course more and better boss fights.

--Taunt button, or make better idle animations.

Put more weapons in the game. Also put more creativity into them like you did with Aquila. The rest are mediocre.

I would love love LOVE for all the enemies from the first game to carry over to the 2nd, and then put more in for an even larger variety. I loved all the enemies in this game (even the ones that required you to use a specific alignment. Reminded me of Ikaruga.), so seeing them all return, with even more different types to boot, would be awesome.

The addition of a hard lock-on would be nice as well, and it would be more easily implemented than most people think. Just click the left or right analog stick and bam. All you need to do is make the lock-on a toggle instead of hold-type deal.
