Now, we all know that Vergil looks like this

But in the Vergil's Downfall DLC trailer, he looks like this

Now, those familiar with past DMC games know that Vergil flips his hair back to look like how he normally does. Do you think that Vergil will do that in this game? If so, will we see it for the first time in a trailer, or will we see it while actually playing the game, or will it be during the DLC?

It's the classic composed Disney villain shtick. He's all becoming and fancy, but when his plans start to unravel and he gets angry, he's got stray strands of hair out of place, and begins to look disheveled :p

By hair flip do u mean him brushing back his hair with his hand? If so then yea we'll probably see it after Virgil gets his @$$ kicked.

If we're ever going to see it, I guess it'll be at the end of Downfall, after beating the last boss or something.... or maybe in the cutscene right before the last boss.

I think so, and I'd love to see it make a reappearance (probably in the DLC). It gives Vergil a slightly comical flaw - vanity - that compares well to Dante's silly one-liners. He'd be dull if there was nothing about him to mock (besides his unfunny crazy).

you forgot to add one option

"I don't care about the hair flip because Old vergil isn't a good character to begin with"

His apparent DT looks pretty damn comical, if what I've been shown is true.

Whether you like Vergil or not, the hair flip is an integral part of his pre-reboot character, but this is about WHEN do you think they will show it, because NT has to unless they want to get more hate mail

You mean that thing Vergil only did like...once? How is that an integral part of his character?

who ? what ? isn't this supposed to be a reboot ? aren't we supposed to be forget and leave all our fanboish cosmetic love behind ? vergil's fanbase is like fanbase of bobba fett he was supposed to be one-shot die kinda character

NT does not need more hate mail and death threats, and judging by the fact that Vergil's hair is covering his forehead in the trailer, he will push his hair back.
This is a joke thread dude, lighten up

He's also playing you, Megamad. Ignore him.

Anyhow. It be a cool little nod to the series if he did flip his hair after a tough fight or in the end of a boss battle in the DLC or after fighting Dante.

So his slicked back hair is what distinguishes him from Dante, and you're asking when he'll flip it back in Vergil's Downfall?

Did you forget that his hair is slicked back for all of the main DmC story...?

It was raining in that fight. His hair doesn't seem to be slicked with copious amounts of gel, so after maneuvering and attacking for awhile, his hair would lose the style. He'd just flip it back again.

That's what I meant.

I was talking about DMC3 when they were identical twins

Oh, that wasn't directed at you. I knew what you meant.

They're identical twins here, too :x
