The Definitive DmC Dante Must Die Experience w/ Videos

So, I'm going to try to attempt to do a no damage dmd playthrough with 20% turbo now that I feel like I have implemented fixes to most of the gameplay complaints that many people had with DmC. The 20% Turbo definitely makes the no damage part of this challenge harder, but my buff to angel dash cough* trickster should be a nice equalizer. Anyway, wish me luck and throw me a view/like/suggestion.

Finally! Thank you for this, dude. Be as stylish as possible!

Stylish as f#ck.

Great vid.

Do you mean more tornado explosion type stuff?

Well, nothing too specific.

Dante has amazing crowd and air control, plus he's the most agile character i've seen in a long time. So predicting where enemies are going to land or setting up where you want them to go, for me, has been some of the most stylish combat i've seen since dmc3.

It may not shoot your style rank up but i could careless about that as long as it looks cool

To me, the 20% increase in speed and your buffed up angel evade give you a lot more options than i've ever had but it seems like your play style is very aggressive. Which is cool and it does look badass, but i prefer a more refined, tactical approach.

Wish i had a way to show you because its very hard to explain =/

Oh, I understand. The aggressiveness is not just due to playstyle but obligation, enemies are a bit tougher to avoid with 20% turbo, like that harpy battle, it looks easier than it really is to not get hit while playing. But I'll try to incorporate more mix ups during the more reasonable battles or on the last enemy in waves.

Added Mission 2, I'm going to experiment with a different control scheme going forward, but yeah these first few missions are too long with the tutorial portions to do adequate experimentation in. None the less, I was able to get some nice explosions early on in the mission. Check it out and let me know what ya'll think. Also drop a thumbs up on the youtube vid if its not too much.

Finally did Mission 3, hope y'all enjoy it, and if you do, throw the video a like, I better get one from you Wallen for that sick Tank Drone Juggle, took me forever to get the timing down.

Hey, wallen, next time you play on the console, see if you can prime two shotgun bombs. Charge one up, and then buffer it using that dodge spam attack trick, then do a fireworks, and start charging again. You should be able to charge up two shotgun bombs so you can fire them back to back. That's how I did that ricoshot + bomb so fast back to back.

Damn you, Wallen, because of you I'm struggling to be satisfied with my vids, I'm like not enough variety too repetitive, you better appreciate the tyrant juggle in mission 3 I'm about to upload.

HA!

Dude, ur awesome btw. I've learned a lot from you, especially the dreamrunners. I still, for the life of me, can't beat them as clean as i want to.

And yes, the Tyrant combo was very creative. Using high time to get to the ground quick and shoving charged bullets up his ass. ****ing Crazy. I also didn't know you can use Osiris to lift up the butcher with only a lvl 1 charge. I guess the timing is pretty strict. Also.....Dream Runners look like pussies when they fight you.

Ur talking about the automatic charge glitch, right? and then when the shotgun is charging, do fireworks, but in the middle of it, charge another shotgun bomb?

hmmm... interesting.

Honestly, i thought the double bomb was just you being able to charge up weapons faster because of the 20% speed increase. I'm gonna try it out tonight though. But i don't like using the charge glitch. But now it actually seems like it has some kind of benefits.

Yeah, I haven't seen anyone else do it besides me. So, maybe its the last undiscovered glitch/tech.

nah, that glitch was in the demo. But without anything written about it, besides TwoXAcross HUGE DmC Need to know Guide, I doubt many people use it. I don't use it because setting it up feels glitchy. =/ but two bombs are better than one

Well I know about the single charge, but I don't think I've seen the double charge anywhere, but anyhoo, can't believe you didn't see the usefulness of charging up shots. That's how I rainstorm ricoshot so much and so effortlessly, its almost become second nature at this point.
