Sudakami’s EA project is Shadow of the DAMNED

Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami’s Electronic Arts published project has been revealed a few hours early. While the announcement was originally scheduled for EA’s Tokyo Showcase at 3am EST tonight, the latest issue of Famitsu has leaked the game along with its first details.

Titled Shadow of the DAMNED, Suda and Mikami’s title places players in the shoes of a “demon killer” who rides a motorcycle. He’ll fight those who lurk the underworld in a Resident Evil 4-style perspective.

It’s set for a spring 2011 release on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Stay tuned. EA’s press conference is in three hours. We’re likely to hear from the game then.

Sounds good, and I can't wait for it. This is the secret project between Suda 51 and Shinji Mikami that has rumoured for a long time. Hopefully, the English release will be ASAP so that we can play it.

Not my kinda game. It looks more like Grindhouse more then anything. Its too cheesy. Its too bad. They have the creator of RE and the music composer of Silent Hill...yet they go with sum cheesy grindhouse looking thing. I was hoping for a more survival horror thing. Since RE 5 was basically all about action and less about horror.

The screenshots look awesome. Thanks to Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5 and Dead Space, I am a huge fan of third person shooter games, and this looks good.

This actually looks pretty interesting at this point. It's just a shame it's only been announced for 360 and PS3 - not PC.
