Submitting Fictional Stories

Hey guys, I know this is probably more of an ask than anything but about submitting fictional stories, are there any limits to what we post?
Is there certain things we are not allowed to post in it?
Can it go on forever?

Could somebody please tell me what the rules are for submitting fictional stories

And seriously, if I do, please don't copy my stories, they might not mean much to you but they mean a lot to me, for real, and I'm quite proud of them, ...

Although this section is predominantly for devil may cry fanfiction, there have been a few submissions of original work in the past so I guess it's okay if you post a fictional story here. I think as long as you keep in mind the minimum age restriction of members on this site and keep your content appropriate, there should be no probs. Just go on the fanfic submission guidelines and apply it to your work of fiction.

Also, as with anywhere else on the internet/in real life, you run the risk of people 'copying' your stories. It happened to me on fanfiction.net, I had this brilliant idea, posted it up, and a day after there was an influx of new stories by different authors who were basically taking parts of my concept/story/plot and putting it into theirs. If it happens in ff I'm sure it happens in original works as well. But you maintain copyright of your work and you're allowed to drag any lazybum to court if you feel they have infringed your work. Posting your stories here is also one way of proving your copyright since it posts the date and time, so you should be safe anyway.

Still, I posted one original work up here once before but removed it a few months later. Just because I didn't want my agent getting cross that I dared put anything out on the internet that 'could' become an obstacle in marketing the book.

Well, Fanfiction.net has a sister site called fictionsite.net where you can post originalworks.

i think the posts are dated so its easy to show who thought of it first.

It's been around for a while now too.
