Street Fighter X Tekken release date joins Easter games rush.
Capcom has announced a specific release date for crossover fighter Street Fighter X Tekken, only it's exactly the same day as both Mass Effect 3 and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier…
Although the game has always been pegged for next spring, Capcom has announced that it will be out on March 9 in Europe, which has already become a choke point for new releases - although admittedly none that are direct competitors for Street Fighter X Tekken.
The revelation was made at the New York Comic Con over the weekend, where naturally Capcom didn't talk about why publishers couldn't schedule their way out of a paper bag. But they did announce that Street Fighter IV character Rufus (the big-boned fella in yellow) is going to be in the game.

They also revealed that there is going to be a PC version of the game, as well as the previously announced PSVita version (which includes Cole from inFamous as a playable character).

Finally the contents of the game's special edition were also annouced, although technically the following is only confirmed for the US so far:

• Build-it-yourself arcade cabinet cabinet (approximately 5” tall)
• Exclusive prequel comic book by Udon
• 36 gems: includes all pre-order packs plus an exclusive pack
• Pre-order bonus: nine exclusive gems only available for pre-ordering the special editions
• Total of 45 gems when you pre-order

If you're wondering what all this gem business is, it's a new customisable power-up system that modifies a character's abilities and stats - a bit like buffs or perks in a role-playing games. You can find more explanations in the trailer below.

And I don't do Videos in threads because they take up too much MB for me, so if you want to see it, go to the Metro site.
