I was looking at the DmC tag and people who are against this game are losing their peanuts again because in DmC, Virgil snipes Lilith's demon spawn (which is Mundus's son) killing her and the demon child.

So now, apparently, people hate this game even more because it supports abortion and you (actually, Virgil does in a cut scene) kill innocent demon whores who try to murder you with their demonic child....

I lol'd all the way back to my Xbox 360 for Dante Must Die mode. :troll:

Nevermind the fact you just spent a good twenty minutes beating that baby into submission while its mother dangled around like a dingleberry. The shooting is what really nailed the coffin shut. So you can take the coat hanger and poke the baby a bit, but keep that baby away from those evil staircases? Um...logic please?

I actually do feel kinda bad for her. Vergil uses a "take no prisoners" mentality that you usually only see (in fiction) in tyrants.

We probably are; how scared she looks during the exchange, and the fact that Vergil shot a surrendered person. Demon, sure, but shooting someone who's not fighting back will never sit well with anyone. People's emotions are just off in this case, focusing on the baby demon thing (forgetting that it just tried to kick your ass under Lilith's orders previously, it's not exactly defenseless or gives somesort of ****.)

I was hoping though that Vergil had a better reason for killing the baby other than setting Mundus off, like the child was somesort of key to further power once properly "born", and Vergil was essentially taking away Mundus's access to it.

What if it was revealed in a later game that the spawn survived the attack in some way, and winds up becoming DmC's Nero? :cheez:
