They did the Royal Release/Just Release but you can see a projectile coming out and there is also a huge delay.
I guess something like Royal Release is just too good for a game to have.

It appears that the Dash IS IN. However it is only activated when you just release with full gauge.
In less than full gauge release does not create that dash.
This is still a nerf in my opinion, as the release is one of Dante's fastest moves, could damage multiple targets, and was extremely satisfying to use every time regardless of gauge.

He said we can do the release without full gauge!
Meaning the projectile may be a back input. So effectively Royal Guard is better now.
