Royal Guard Question

I see those video use RoyalGuard style block enermy atk with no get any damage.Why i use it and the block will break,even the block didnt break i also get some damage.How to do like the video?

i always used to get gold or silver guard even though i didn't try as much so when i took the damage i went into dt and killed everyone:lol:

yaa, royalguard requires a lot of practice before being effective against tougher enemies.
but after one gets enough timing of it, it's deadly.
I was able to beat cerberus with two charge releases only.
