I'd say that it's about time that they saw the light. It's been long overdue.

See, here's the thing about big government, folks.
It doesn't last.
So, no matter how long you support an authoritarian regime, they end. Eventually, they fall in the worst possible way.
And if anyone still feels the need to point out how "big government will eventually win" or "communism can still be used for good," then I think a lesson regarding the Tambov Rebellion is in order.

While they didn't win the civil war against the Bolshevik regime, the weakened them enough to make them eventually tear down the Berlin Wall. That never would have happened if it hadn't been for the Tambov Rebellion.
