Gonna watch that on 16th January Morning. Cause in mine time zone it will be 11 PM and sadly in mine 30s I'm not like mine 20s when I waited that long for gaming showcases. Sad that often things I have interest in goes that night time where I live.

Ya it is the same here, a lot of events are at 10pm here in ireland, and some like the game awards start after midnight so i miss them live.

Really glad it has optional camera choices for 1st and 3rd person. It is also a relief to see it is more like re4 and re2 remakes in terms of gameplay.

I'm definitely feeling this one a lot more than other recent entries in the series. I'm not so much a fan of the first person view, so it's pleasing to be able to choose between switching between first and third person.

Same here, i was not really into 7 much and the winters were not exactly captivating protagonists. Resi 8 felt a lot more like a castlevania game than a resi game too, but was at least a good survival horror.
This feels like a nice return to form.

Will not spoil anything @lorddemolatron , not my style. I will say though that it is a magnifcent return to form, especially the middle and end acts. You are in for a treat.

I completed RE9 earlier on Monday and it is fantastic! It is so much better than 7 & 8, and almost as good as RE4R.

If these rumors are accurate, Leon's new look sounds pretty interesting, especially the black jacket. I came across this jacket and it immediately reminded me of the one mentioned in the RE9 rumors. Do you think this is the same jacket Leon Kennedy will be wearing in Resident Evil 9: Requiem, or just something similar?

Just started the game and I can already tell I'm in for a great ride.
Masterful use of light and shadow effects to create atmosphere, and I like that these zombies seem to have some semblance of awareness of who they used to be.
And one thing I've noticed is how great Capcom has gotten at faces. They really put the uncanny valley days of DMC5 and RE7 behind them (fugly Trish and creepy ass Mia still haunt my dreams) , these characters look amazing.
Only one complaint so far: all those settings and you still refuse to put an FOV slider, Capcom? In 2026 I still need to rely on mods for that? Come on... God bless the guys who made REFramework.
