Is there a difference in how much rep there is if you give rep with a comment and if you give rep without a comment?
I know that the rep given with a comment gets something like a lot of approval whilst ones without just get approval.

I pretty much always give comments. Nonetheless how big is the difference in rep if there is one?

There is no difference in rep quantity whether you put a comment or not. It should retain its strength, as it were, regardless.

Only reason I put comments is if they are necessary or to let the person know who repped them if they are unable to see the identity of the giver.
