Hey guys!

I was wondering if someone could tell me what exactly reddit is meant to be used for?
Like, Twitter I get, Facebook I get, Photobucket I get, Tumblr I sorta get, but Reddit? Totally alien to me.

To me it just seems like a giant site full of mini forums. I'm apart of one.

So it's just a glorified forum?

I've never used it. But as Chancey said, it's apparently split up or divided into a bunch of sub-forums.

I never used it either but read bits & pieces on it.
Is that the forum where there's alot of jerks ?

I guess that would be a subjective matter.
