Okay, so watching the trailer Tameem explained something I recently thought I heard him say, but just thought it may of been my mind making it up. He explains that there are three forms for Dante. A human form, an angel form and a demon form. Where everyone got the idea he was half angel and half demon is beyond me. I was under the impression that they had left out his human side, because that's what a lot of people had said. So if I'm thinking correctly, mathematically you can't split 100% into three different percentages without a recurring figure. So what does this tell us? I'm going to assume that Dante is now 50% human, 25% demon and 25% angel (Or at least, something along those lines in terms of figures). I mean that works out right mathematically. I don't see the problem with this, because they haven't taken away Dante's human form. Meaning all of those who said it ruins what Devil May Cry was all about don't have to think that any more (A positive plus wouldn't you agree?). So Ninja Theory haven't changed anything too drastic (The way they went about changing things at first was foolish though, as I mentioned before). But they've kept it the same, but added in an angel form (Which is what I thought would be cool in other Devil May Cry games). Now we get human, demon and angel Dante. A delightful mix of all three, that I have to admit is fun.
What I didn't like was the guy working for Capcom USA when he said "Linking attacks to guys"...They're called demons, it's Devil May Cry.
Another thing I realised was when they were talking about the World interacting with Dante. It reminds me of when Mallet Island was falling apart and you had to get out of there. It didn't react much to Dante (In terms that you had to interact with it, you just had to run away) but it was a fun mission. Perhaps Ninja Theory got the idea to make the environment destructive from that? Who knows, but I think it's a cool idea. Sure makes walking around a lot more interesting. Devil May Cry usually has you go from one part to another killing demons, there's not much else apart from the odd puzzle to consider. I mean, the World around you doesn't really do much. In this it sounds like it is going to do a lot and try to be engaging, and that's quite a cool idea in my opinion.
Next thing to do is wait for them to tell us a bit about the story. At the moment they're being very hush about it. I hope they reveal something about it soon though, I'm intrigued.
