So I'm still new to this game, and while there are a lot of videos and tutorials I found telling me how to do cool combos and deal with individual enemies and types- it feels like there's little in the way of putting this all together for one of the larger encounters.
So take for example a situation where I'm facing a diverse group of enemies: so far, this is how I prioritize enemy types.
1) Flying assholes
2) Red assholes
3) Blue assholes
Apart from taking out flying enemies first simply because they drive me nuts, I feel I should ALWAYS be going for Reds before Blues- I'll explain my reasoning but someone please correct me if I'm wrong or you have a better strategy.
If I go for Reds first, when Reds and Blues are in the battle at the same time, I can stall the Blues with Aquila while I wail on the Reds. I feel that when I go for Blues first, I have no way to keep the Reds at bay while I'm focused on using my angelic weapons. I suppose it wouldn't matter and I could take both types on at my leisure, however since not only do these weapons do no damage to the wrong color- but bounce off enemies and cause Dante to flinch, I'm at a larger risk if I hit an enemy with the wrong type of weapon.
So, is this a reliable strategy?
