The first part of Vergil's Chronicles is now available for iPhone, iPad, Kindle, Android and Web for $3.99 exclusively through the comiXology app, which is available through the Apple app store I know for sure because I just downloaded it haha. I've downloaded the app and the first book, and I have to say that I'm sorely disappointed. The first part spans from panels that we've all seen with Dante fighting the Succubus, and ends with Kat getting thrown in Hellfire prison as a ploy by Vergil to get her to find Dante who is also being held in Hellfire. The art style is pretty cool I guess, but the action is nonexistent and the panels are filled with dialogue that don't explain anything that we don't already know. Other than Mundus being one of the kings of the demon world along with Sparda being a king as well -- Mundus' right hand man, in fact. Another interesting bit was The Lost City, in which Dante acquires the Ophion grapples as well as Devil Trigger, was actually cleaned up by Vergil. I downloaded it through the app on my phone and will take some snapshots to post on here for you guys.
