Possible Lady/Arkham References?

Anybody notice how Kat pretty much took both Lady's and Trish's characters in the game? That might be a coincidence, but what I think isn't is the possible reference to Arkham.
Kat's father was screwed up, according to her. And she killed him after joining Vergil. Could this possibly be an indirect reference to Arkham in DMC3?

Not really. Trish has nothing much to her aside from being a simulacrum of Dante's mother (which Kat certainly ain't), and Lady's father was obsessed with becoming a demon. Kat was in foster care, with a foster father who was a demon, that constantly beat her.
