I'd like to start off with one I wrote 5 uinites earlier. (I know I diddn't make a contribution in the last thread.)

Long distance love:

My heart acheing
Listening, to the voices.
He is the one for me.
The one that keeps my sanity.

I am in the darkness
He, pulls me to the light.
What are feeling like this made for?

He's so distant, so
Far away
I can't touch him...
Can't feel him...
Whats the point of this?

I fall on my knees,
Wishing, for the end.
My heart aches...
I want, the one person I cannot have.
The one person that keeps me alive...
I cannot be with.

There is no happy ending in a love like this.
If I were to die tomorow.
He would not know...


I'll admit it's not the best poem i've written.

here's an old poem I wrote long ago and had kinda forgotten about

Rain On Me (Inspired by the song "Love Rain O'er Me" by "The Who" and by the motion picture "Reign Over Me" starring Adam Sandler)

It is cold. I shiver. Nothing can keep me warm.
It is wet. I am drowning. No one there to save me.
It is sharp. I feel the knife in my heart. Blood flows.
It is dark. The crushing dark. I am bent, on my knees.
It is painful. I feel my mind collapse. It is too much.
It is lyrical. The music dulls my senses. I feel nothing.
It is hot. Hell's flames rise around me. I am engulfed.
It is burning. All I know eaten away by flames. I am lost.
It is strange. I can't tell what's what. I wander.
It is loud. I scream for it to stop. For it to go away.
It is silent. Still as the grave. Unbearable quiet.
It is creeping. Creeping chill crawls up my spine. It is alive.
It is death. Masked by a cloak. It comes for me


It is rain. It washes me away. Never again to rain on me.
