People using the "Emo" version of Dante to hate on DmC

I remember when i first saw Dante's first appearance in the 2010 trailer yes i admit that was a bit emo looking but after they changed his to look more punk-like i still see people calling him emo, why is that? An excuse to hate on the game? or they count the new hair as emo too?

This is just me, but I didn't think emo when I saw the 2010 trailer; my reaction was more surprised at how scrawny and skinny he looked.
As for now, he does look more punk, so I don't know why people still say he is emo. I guess it's just easier to label him as that for a laugh. There's nothing about his attitude that is stereotypical emo, heck, even people who identify as emo don't all go around with hair over one side like that and getting mopey slitting their wrists. It's just a stereotype.

When i first saw Dante he looked kinda skinny and worse foe wear. I never thought 'emo'. He looks more like a punk then anything else. Heh Just people trying to hate on the game. sigh Getting really old. :| Personally I like the new look.
