online translator help

i have been looking around at various online translators ( websites that have programs that automaticaly translate words from one language to another) and discoved a major issue not all languages use the same alphabet and most online translators show the translation the way it would be written if someone who actually knew the language wrote it. but that dosen't help me since i don't know those languages ( if i did i wouldn't be looking for a translator)

what i need is a online translator that can translate single words from english to latin, japanese and hebrew ( those are just the languages i have been trying to use i may need more in the future) in a way i can read.

so dose anybody know a website that would help me.

yes. for single words just use an online dictionary.

automatic online translators are extremely bad anyway. they take the literal translation of each word in english and structure it into the other language with little regard to word order or grammar. use an automatic translator if you want your teacher to take a single look at it and give you an F (assuming this is for a class).

don't believe me? copy some grammatically correct spanish and paste it into a translator. translate to english and see how good of a job it does.

If you are going to translate a few words then it's really good to use the google translator. There is an option below the text that asks if you want to read it in phonetic text.

If you want sentences translated, it's better to ask a person who knows the language.

it's not for class i'm not in school. ( graduated high school, not in college) and word order and grammer don't apply for single words.
