Now that the game is out...(Spoilers) Do they explain why he looks human?

Since he is half demon, and half angel, I found it odd that he looks so human, in previous games he looked human because his human half was the dominant one, but in this he has no human half. Do they give a reason for this in the story?

Aren't their human forms disguises they use while in the human world? Or are those actually their true forms?

And don't their human forms look a bit....off, not quite fully human, at least that is the way it seemed from what I saw. While Dante looks completely human.

They are human and demon children, both but also neither.
Demons are capable of great evil, while angels are seen to be kind and compassionate. Humans are capable of both, so I guess human was the logical middle for the twins.
Dante starts off rough, but is capable of great kindess to Kat, while Vergil who seems to have good intentions is actually cold and capable of what could be seen as evil actions.

Don't know if that explains it, but that's my thoughts on some part of it.

Errr, that is something related to their nature, but not to their forms. The fact of the matter is they are not human, at all, as such looking completely human is a bit odd. As a cross between a demon and angel, they should look like a cross between a demon and angel, not a human.

Ever played DMC4?

I've played all of them. I was hoping since Ninja Theory bragged about "explaining" Dante's origins and have a reputation for story telling, there wouldn't be so many lingering questions that beg answers. After beating the game, it just didn't feel like a complete story.

Apparently, they always look human because their parents always did, too. In all their appearances in-game, Sparda is a horned human, and Eva is a winged human; no other differences, and nobody asks any awkward questions about it. The twins also don't dramatically change form when they trigger. The only human-like demons shown to have a true demon form are Mundus and his spawn.

So... I've been following these forums for a while, and I think I read somewhere that Sparda and Eva tried to disguise themselves and the twins as humans, so the demons would've a hard time looking for them. Kinda worked, since it took Mundus seven years to catch them.

Since Demons are chaotically evil, and Angels are pure good, that means that humans are neutral.
Being spawned from both means that you are on the same level as a human.
Angels and Demons could also make themselves human.

What bothers me is the fact that Dante and Vergil are Demon dominant, they barely have any angelic traits at all.
Hell, unleashing their true power results in a Devil Trigger. At least the ancient Nephilim were portrayed with Angel wings so one can assume that they were quite a bit more Angelic when they were alive.

Everyone is talking about DmC...and I'm still sitting here...waiting for my copy in the mail..but honestly, I don't know either xD maybe it is a disguise.

Didnt Sparda and Eva have human resemblances? Unless im wrong about that i dont see a reason for them not to look the way they do.

The whole thing about Dante being more demonic doesnt make sense but it seems they wanted to leave room for more after the main game like dlc or a second DmC in which Dante probably completes his power or something like that. I dont think he's at full power because the ending makes it seem like he's just reaching the next lvl of power(hair changing and eyes glowing blue and red).
