Ninja Theory could possibly be bringing back Jester/Arkham in DmC 2.

I really began to wonder if Kat is a a new incarnation of Lady. Walking around wearing short shorts, brunette, sexy, , and also very mysterious. Then i began to think about the origin of her powers. Kat is a medium, capable of l
looking into the demon realm, but which side of her family did she inherit her powers from? I suddenly began to think about Arkham from DMC3, Lady's father, and how he was so obsessed with demons he killed his own wife to become one. He could possibly return in DmC2, as a very powerful medium in search of his daughter, who ran away after he killed her mother. He finds vergil's order mask, and takes on the identity of Jester. Which could be a secret ending on DmC, after you kill 100 demons.
This is all i got so far. Its only a theory, don't take any of this too serious.
 
Kat's parents are gone, and she lived with a foster family, of which the father was a demon. They haven't explained where her biological family is, but for all intents and purposes, they're probably dead.

Kat is an original character. Can we stop grasping at straws so much?
 
Can you stop being a buzz kill? We're only speaking hypothetcally, we're not hurting anybody for coming up with their theories. Like you said, her biological parents are gone, that doesn't necessarily mean they're dead.
 
I dont see it. Lady hated demons just like kat but Lady would never work for a demon. dmc3 Dante had to earn lady's trust by actually showing her that he had a heart. Im guessing kat works for Vergil just because she has a crush on him. I think when Dante comes along shell have a crush on him as well. She will probably fall for them both. If Lady shows up in DmC she will probably be a lone wolf or possibly a high rank in the order maybe. I just think that mostly everyone in this reboot is keeping their own persona. Mundus still evil, Dante still a smart ass and Vergil still smarter and more advanced then Dante. thats just my thoughts though.
 
I don't believe Kat is supposed to be Lady 2.0, if only because she seems like she wouldn't know which end of a gun to hold. That said, I also don't know why she had to be a short-haired brunette in shorts who killed her evil father. Then again, Lucia was a demon clone with identity issues whose creator was the game's antagonist, just like Trish, so. I dunno. I guess writers and designers somehow miss these things.
 
When I saw the thread title I thought you had official comments from NT or at least good proof for such a claim.

Needless to say that wasn't the case...

Having moderated one of the largest freaking threads on the DissidiaForum for Duodecim's release, I got into the mindset of trying to keep people's speculation to a minimum, because it's not much better than misinformation if it gets out of hand. God...still gives me nightmares...over 14,000 posts...

Their is nothing wrong with fan speculation, the threads title needs a MAJOR change but otherwise its fine. The DMC.org mods may change the threads title if the new guy asks.
 
I don't get the lady idea but the jester idea is a cool idea!
With that order mask he can mascarade and plummet the orders reputation to ashes while being a total clown.
I like it.

Jester in DmC would probably be the Heath Ledger to DMC3's Jack Nicholson.

Darker,. sadistic, and all around "realistic". (I'ma poet and I didn't even know it)

That being said, I think they should keep DmC as far away from Jester as possible, because unlike the Joker (Who despite what Nolan fanboys say, Tim Burton came closest to portraying him, had he made him a bit more dark, we would've gotten a true to the comics Joker.) , Jester can only be portrayed as a manipulative, yet intentionally hilarious character.

However the idea of Kat becoming Lady has sparked an interest in me ever since the theory was brought up. The thing is, Kat just seems like a lamer version of Lady to me, every last part of Kat's role could be filled in by a rebooted Lady, and if they plan to make her a romantic interest, then LadyXDante shippers (and me, because the only decent DMC shipping fics I've seen are Lady X Dante) would be pleased., so to see a harmless medium who gets captured, transform into a gun toting feminist, really would be interesting, and the best path to take if you ask me. Then again, I'm not getting the game due to my lack of money.
