BLACKSWIPE
"Waiting for one's arrival."
I logged in today to notice something that got me rather excited. A new DmC trailer wonderfully polished and well made.
The trailer starts with Dante walking in a rainy street, going against the crowd as they walk with their black umbrellas. A man carrying a news paper with what appears to be the word "Terrorist' and a pic of Dante, walks by. As Dante walks by, the man looks back at the passing 'terrorist'. Then it shows a little girl about to drink that oh so delicious 'virility', aka hot and steamy succubus ****. Luckily Dante is there to slap the **** out of her hand, and the little girl rushes to her mother because she just saw the 'terrorist'. Then the choir music starts up, Dante now thrown into Limbo and people now vanishing into mysterious black ash or something. The streets open up to an abyss, and all of the cars present start to tumble down to their doom. Dante however is not worried and takes a merry stroll up top these cars as they prepare to fall. Jumping off of these cars, he arrives at the local bank. However this is not your friendly 'IRS bank full of WONDERFUL people,' but instead its full of demons. Taking off his hood, the bank goes into complete limbo chaos, demons running towards Dante to end his life. Dante whips out Ebony & Ivory and proceeds to pump the demon full of hot lead.
Then putting away his guns, he yanks out rebellion, teaching the demons not to **** with him. He slices a few to pieces before sending a demon flying high up into the air to finish off the combo with Ebony and Ivory. After landing he uses a cool demon pull to yank a demon close to him only to finish it off with what appears to be Arbiter. He once more jumps into the air to rain a storm of bullets upon the demon before he lands, seemingly getting covered in these beats. The scene then switches to a fat bastard in an office, getting kissed by two babes. But knowing what happens next, the door gets kicked open, a demon standing it is frame. Only the demon falls to reveal an angry Dante. Reaching back he grabs Rebellion, and begins to casually walk towards the fat man and his babes. The babes rapidly transform into bird like demon with a terrible case of the screechy voice, and launch themselves at him. Dante unleashes his newly discovered Devil Trigger, his hair turning white and his jacket turning bright red. His eyes also turn red, accompanied by red veins. The landscape also changes, limbo now thrown into a white chaos created by Dante. After defeating them with a last stunning blow by Arbiter, Dante lands next to the seat of the fat man. Quickly yanking out Ivory, he presses the chamber of the gun to the demon's head, seemingly ready to pull the trigger. The demon knowing its fate speaks out the words, "Who the hell are you?"
Pulling the demon close, he speaks into its ear, "My name, is Dante." before yanking the demon up to smash it on to the top of a desk. Taking a stamp in his hand, he kills the demon in a single punch, also stamping the word 'foreclosure' on to its forehead. Limbo is instantly over, the man now back in his large and fat human form. As dante turns to leave, several people walk into the room before stepping out of his way. As he turns back, he utters the last words, "Tell them I'm coming."
The trailer then ends to show the new DmC logo in all of its glory, then shows the release date. I very much enjoyed this trailer, but one thing bugged me.
What the hell was up with Dante's voice? His voice in this trailer sounded NOTHING like Tim Phillips, Dante's new voice actor. And to be honest, his voice in this trailer sounded TERRIBLE. For me it was like listening to a cheesy 4-Kids dub of an anime !Why the hell didn't Tim Phillips voice three lines of dialogue for this trailer! Or was it something else? I pray that they didn't decide to dump Tim Phillips for this new chump. because his voice in this trailer was terrible. I just pray that Tim Philips didn't have enough time to voice over Dante, maybe because he was too busy with working on something with Capcom.
All in all (aside from the horrible voice) I very much did enjoy this trailer. I founded it interesting and action packed, and left me wanting more of Dante and his Limbo-filled adventures. What did you guys think of this trailer?
