I really dunno if anyone know this or told... when finish a mission before the ranks it comes some gunshots on the screen... i discovered that more shots shows better rank and less shots is a bad rank not helpful but it is something... hope it helped (someway)

Exactly, If you get an S, or SS, the gunshots are rapid-fire and the glasses break with a high speed off the screen.

When playing with Vergil however, there are certain poses of him, depending on the weapon you carried till the end of the mission. For example:

Vergil with Yamato on his hand in a flying pose.

Vergil with Beowulf, having one leg high.

Vergil with Force Edge and Yamato, having them slightly backwards him.

yeah when vergil have a low rank it shows an normal pose of him but in high ranks another pose of him shows up... i knew that cuse i got all SS on normal and easy with vergil before dante... but i think you deserve an rep+ for that one
