Ronin

Let's rock, baby!
Since Kat is new in the DmC universe, what characters would you make for future DmCs?

Out of mythology, fiction and real-life.

- New humans
- Demon Hunters
- Angels
- Hybrids/Half-Breeds

wow dude you really like the reboot ha
Id like to see more angels and demon hunters

Well ever since that reboot had been put up. I've been so excited to see what happens next in hopes of a final happy ending where Dante saves the entire world and the universe for his family (Sparda, Eva & Vergil), Kat, Nero and many others through humanity and God.

If there are hybrid demon hunters, I'd wanna see...
- a monk
- a brawler
- a circus performer (contortionist)

not trying to be funny but a monk dude or a circus performer wouldnt they be kinda out of place
Not really since there are circus performers around today as well as monks but they tend outside society which is apart of their appeal.

Circus performers tend to be amalgamized with Gypsies and Irish Traveller which are modern day nomads who do tend commit crimes to support themselves.

So im guessing both groups could be a way to bring in humans with powers (like mutants) and look at different ways they use their abilities.

If there was a monk, he'd be a blind one with shaolin and ninja skills. He'd be half human & oni.

What about an old human man helping Dante and Kat I Dmc? He can supply him with weapons. Firearms even forge devil and angel arms. Kinda like Whistler from Blade

that role could be filled by bringing in Nell Goldstein from the 1st light novel.

She was the one who created Ebony and ivory in the old series

Oh. Interesting.

But since this is a reboot, either bring her back or give that status to an old man. Well gotta be a way to make him permanent in assisting Dante in his (Dante's) shop.

thing is tho this character's role can be fullfilled by Phineas.

on topic-

April is a human psychic who works for Mundus's army as a brainwasher/interrogater. I like the idea of the demon collaborators but felt they were too vaguely defined so i thought of April as a way to explore that idea. She basically sold her soul for riches and uses her telepathy to brainwash others. She was Kat's jailer during her stay with Mundus.

How about someone taking up a "Morpheus" persona. An African American who is not only a Christian pastor but also a demon hunter as well, following God's teachings.

He sees Dante as a blood brother to him in his family tribe.

Bring back the old ones, I want to see how they recreate characters like Nero, Lady and Trish. Looks and character wise. As for enemies, expand on The Order.

If you wanna talk about recreating Nero, Trish & the Order of the Sword. Try these:
Nero: http://devilmaycry.org/threads/ideas-for-dmc-nero.16882/
Trish: http://devilmaycry.org/threads/ideas-for-trish-to-return.16909/
Order of the Sword: http://devilmaycry.org/threads/ideas-for-dmc4s-characters-return.16889/

As for new characters. Got any thoughts on that? Those who have survived the Order's annihilation and that are missing?

Azrael: The Punishment. The Angel of death, Dante's maternal grandfather. Defeating him in a quick sparring match gets you Reaper, a black angelic scythe.

"J": A mysterious Nephillim trapped in Purgatory. He trains Dante to access his true power. Gives Dante the Nephillim weapon Redeemer, a Sword stylized after a cross that wields great power. Seems to hold humans in the highest regard, calling them his "favorite species".

Jack Kira: Son of one of the seven princes, A demonic destroyer. Jack is a powerful cambion who was trained to kill Dante. He wields Clawed Gauntlets and Greaves, and fights more like an animal than a man.

Gabe Ryan Ellakin: Son of Gabriel, an Angelic Assassin, trained by The Seven Archangels to kill Nephillim. The only one he has never defeated is "J". He refers to "J" as "Immanuel", Dante as "Zamiel", and Vergil as "Apollyn." Gabe had a crush on Eva, and hates Sparda, blaming him for her death. Gabe wields twin Scimitars like his father.

Emmanuel: The Knight. The current Leader of the Seven Archangels. Insanely powerful, to near God-like levels. He believes that humanity is so corrupt that they should be destroyed. He also hates the cambions and Powers (half angels), but deems Gabe a necessary evil.

Metatron: The Scribe. An Archangel, the only non warrior. He hates what the others have become, and helps Dante AND Vergil in secret.

Gabriel: The Messenger. A fast Archangel, father of Gabe. He's one of the oldest Archangels, the brother or Michael and Sariel, who would become Lucifer. He struggles to remain loyal to Emmanuel, and balance his sense of morals with his sense of duty.

Barachiel: The Thunder. A lightning infused Archangel who uses a spear, Gungnir. He remains loyal to the leader of the Archangels, not to the ideals.

Uriel: The Light. Archangel #5. A light infused angel who can teleport at will. He's arrogant, condescending, and more than a little xenophobic.

Saraqael: The Fire. An smart, if demented Archangel. He cares not for heaven, earth or hell, wishing only to spread the flames.

Raphael: The Healer. The quintessential combat medic. Raphael cares for his charges, but lacks self respect. He's also incredibly trusting, believing all of his allies lies.

Leviathan: Demon of envy. A Massive serpentine demon, one of the Seven Princes.

Amon: Demon of Wrath. A wolflike snake tailed demon.

Mammon: Demon of Greed. A golden skinned man.

Beelzebub: Demon of Gluttony: A demon that appears in a swarm of flies. A raspy voiced, dark eyed man with....wicked eating habits. (Hint: he likes "long pork")

Beheamoth: Demon of Sloth. A large, golem like demon

Azazel: Demon of Pride. A Lion clawed man with golden eyes and expensive clothes.

Asmoedeus: Demon of lust. Father of Lilith. A strong, vampire like demon.

Nice set. Azrael... it would've been nice though if Azrael teamed up with Phineas to help him unlock the angel within.

But that J guy. He can team up with the three to help Dante unlock his true potential as a nephilim.

A list of character types that can join Dante....

- An African prince who allies with Dante and brings him into his tribe to become his blood brother. He is the "Morpheus" kind of guy who sees the future for mankind's freedom from evil.

- A blind monk with amazing senses. He sees Vergil's evil heart. He helped Sparda go to a safe haven and became his guardian.

- A contortionist from a broken circus. She teams up with Dante and Kat after Vergil's minions attacked.

- A soldier once a member of Vergil's "Order" survived the onslaught. He didn't notice Dante, Vergil & Kat were the only survivors. Over the past 5 years, he joined the army and later Dante and Kat meet up with him.
