New Artists for next DmC sequel

Ronin

Let's rock, baby!
If there were a new band to replace Combichrist to play the music for the next DmC sequel, who would you want it to be?

For me...

- Within Temptation
- Lacuna Coil
- Haelstrom
or
- Blue Stahli

I wanna hear some rap in DmC so I'd say Earl Sweatshirts, Techn9ne, or some alternative music like XXYYXX.

And of course Trip hop like Tricky, or Massive Attack.

I find rap a bit distracting in games, but I would be down with some Massive Attack. I'd like M83 for some cutscenes/background music, not so much for fight themes. If the soundtrack were to be more rock-based I'd like to see some Queens of the Stone Age or Baroness.

I would prefer something along the lines of Hoobastank's "Without a fight"
Unlike the original games, it doesn't cater to 90s boys
Unlike Combichrist, it doesn't cater to edgy emos

It also actually sounds like an adrenaline pumping song that would fit the combat

I'd like alternative rock for the adrenaline. Maybe something like "Phoenix" by Fallout Boy

A song like "You Think I Ain't Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire" by Queens of the Stone Age could also work

skip to 0:38 to skip the spoken intro

"Just Like You Imagined" by Nine Inch Nails is good too

Songs like "Death Ramps" and "Matador" by Arctic Monkeys could work as low-key battle themes

While I love heavy metal, industrial, and all that jazz, I would love to hear some orchestral tracks as well. One of the biggest disappointments for me when I played DmC was the lack of huge, grandiose, load orchestra music playing during an intense, epic, and awesome moment, something that Devil May Cry 3 capitalized on heavily, if not to a fault. Something like this, I'd say, particularly at the 2:3o mark.
