maybe they're a symbol of the cult thing he belongs to and serves under. Maybe the others a wedding band. (I dunno I'm guessin)

There are a few symbols of the cult that i found from the devil may cry 4 official website in the japanese area. I cant exactly read all the japanese stuff but those symbols that i saw were from Nero's clothes and i saw a symbol similair to Nero's rings.
They may just be sacred markings of Sparda.
