How would Nero come back in the reboot of later games?

Don't want him taking Dante's place again. Though he'll be cambion with the arm again, but a teenager like Dante's age. He can help Dante as a deurotagonist.

He can keep the Red Queen, Blue Rose & Devil Bringer.
 
If he does, please don't let him be the child of Vergil, or whatever was in that book. If I was Vergil and Nero was my kid, I'd want a refund. :P
 
I don't think I'd mind him back if he wasn't such an insufferable brat last time. I just couldn't click with him as a character. I would have liked him more if he was explained and given a backstory. Also, giving him more motivation than tracing Dante for killing Sanctus. Then the only other reson he gets involved is because Kyrie was captured by Agnus. It seemd like saving the world from a rampaging stone God was a secondary objective to him.
 
So long as Nero isn't just a blue coated Dante and they don't pull a DMC4 in making a plethora of obvious questions and not answering a single one, I wouldn't mind. I think he could make a good "mistaken revenge story" where he's hunting Dante.
 
A lot of people say that Nero would be a cambion, which is a demon - human hybrid, but I think they should make him an angel, not a demon, if they were to put him in the reboot.
 
If Nero had an actual clear, interesting story was less annoying and was not a Dante clone in personality and design I would not mind having him show up. I do however think NT would be better served doing something new and not digging too far into the old dmc coffers. Trish and Lady are fine but I honestly cant stand any of the characters from DMC4

A real angel who is sent by his kind to destroy Dante for being an abomination?

See this is my favorite thing about when comics make alternate universes, you get to see the older characters and new and interesting ways which is always cool. I liked NT versions of Vergil and Dante a lot so I have a small bit a faith they will make a new version of Nero cool as well, although I would assume Trish and Lady would be much higher on their list of characters to remake
 
Again, being that Nero got pretty well absorbed into Dante for the reboot, I doubt we'll see him as his own character in the DmC universe. Most of the mechanics he was create dto display in teh first place have already been put into New!Dante's Ophion
 
If he does somehow make it into the reboot i still want his DT to be a some BA figure behind him to help him fight. Anything else can be changed
 
He's already in this game. His name is Dante. I don't understand how people complain about Nero from DMC4 and like Dante.

Could be a chance to make a completely new version of him from the ground up though. Hell, this is a chance to redo all of them into something worth a damn. Trish and Lady as well. Love to see one of them come back... AS PLAYABLE CHARS.
 
Nero should either be an angel or a young member of The Order (maybe both?), because I feel like they really need to expand on that, the game never made us feel like the Order was something greater than just the 3 of them.

Whatever they do, make him playable. 3 playable characters for the next Bloody Palace will be godlike.

**** yes, I hated that. Especially when we found out the armors were hollow shells. It would make sense that they would send Nero some backup in hunting down Dante, hell that could've been rather cool if handled right.

It was Agnus trying to prevent Nero from ruining his stuff I'm pretty sure. I think they intended that with Gloria, but then dev time was cut and they just made her Trish.
