Nephilim, Cambion & other half-breed species

Since this Dante & this Vergil are nephilim.

Wonder if there'll be cambion in the next game also. We need more of those species!

Video games can make up their own descriptions for things. The same way Limbo isn't exactly the first circle of hell but a mirrored version of our world.

As in Darksiders, Nephilim are basically super humans, the four horsemen and the Blacksmith are all Nephilim.

Huh... It's been discused before, evem for DMC, I know I thiought about it, and not just the cambion and the nephilim, damphier and the like as well.

As long as it's done right anything is possible but things like thia can easyly be f 'ed up and turn real stupid.

The usual definition of Nephilim is Angel/Human hybrid but DmC uses it for Angel/Demon Hybrids (not sure what the real name for that is) so it seems unlikely that actual Nephilim will show up anytime soon. And DMC's Cambion (Demon/Human) have both been made into"Nephilim" so i doubt we will see any Cambion.

Devil May Cry doesn't have anything else to create hybrids with so any other hybrids are not possible.

I spoke to someone with knowlege of this, he studies it, actually. He's a member here, as matter of fact.

He said that the name of a Half Demon/Angel would ether be Nephilion or Cambilim. I'm taking his word since he is rather knowlageble on the subject matter.

I think DmC should keep it between Angels and demons
The introduction of other creatures will make it unoriginal and very similar to supernatural
Plus there is also the possibility of "western" Vampires showing up and ****ing up the whole series

I'd rather they just leave Nero out of DmC entirely. The whole reason of making DmC was an attempt to actually create a narrative for Dante's exploits in a more consistent fashion. They should really get that figured out before they try to introduce someone else that they have to explain.

It'd be easier for the actual DMC5 to be about Nero searching for his own heritage, and possibly going off to save Dante from Hell after DMC2.
