need help w/ the game

the game started nice and good and then when i press new game and then let me pick gold oe yellow and when im in the game i can only see the life bar and the eyes of the monster and the swing of the sword and the other are black how can i fix this??:\

maybe the game scratch or dirty or maybe is you're ps2.
