My Vergil theory is Vergil went to get cereal and He and Mudus fought over the last box of demon flakes witch Mudus won and the night Dante went to Mallet island it just so happened to be Halloween and when Dante beat him he went back to the underworld to get a demon flakes from the newly stocked store
