My Tips! (Spoilers)

Well folks I got DmC on Friday and haven't stopped playing since so I will give you a few tips because I am feeling generous! First off those Rage enemies are a real pain so up to mission 10 keep them in the air using the Osiris and rebellion and if you are feeling lucky use the arbiter on them as it has a little more effect than the eryx from what I have played. The Butcher can be very difficult if you just run up to him so what you do is stand a stingers length away and wait for him to fire the saws at you and then parry them and trillion stab him until he is on red then parry and use eryx. Drekevac and Dreamwalkers are difficult but I find that the Arbiter is extremely effective against them as it works mostly (also use Kablooey when you get the chance). When you have the Aquila use round trip to incapacitate more difficult enemies so that you can harvest green orbs if you need them - this is also useful on Rages.

When playing on SoS mode use Kablooey nearly all the time as it gives a lot of style and is powerful (also it is long ranged which is very helpful).

I really enjoyed DmC - more so than any game I have ever played and I mean that - it was epic and I am still playing it!! I actually liked the ending as well...:)

I love the designs of the Drekevac and Dreamwalkers but MAN are they annoying to fight. Not hard, it's just I HATE HATE HATE enemies that breaking out of being in a combo. It's not a flaw with the game, but it's annoying.

In SoS mode they really anger me! I just try to dodge as much as I can and fight after he goes from air to the ground.

It's annoying right? it means trying to make a combo video with them isn't going to be possible... I just did a few shots on them, demon grabbed then demon kicked them off a ledge to get through with the quickest. Such a great design with hardly any fun to be had with them. I get they should have interest attacks but once they're exposed they shouldn't be able to be broken out of a combo. It's called a combo for a reason.

Very true! The aggravate to the extreme when you are on a SS and then they come into the picture and break your streak as you can't get to SSS!
 
Good to know the PS3 version is ok, since that's the one I bought, lol.

Other than that, congrats and I'm happy for you, pal. Hopefully I'll also enjoy my DmCc ride as soon as I get the game next week. XD
