My First BP Run

I just wanna say the loading times make BP amazing! Its a non stop slaughter fest if you want it to be. My first attempt i made it to lvl 100(Mundus) and he 1 shot me lol. It has been a while since i had messed around on him so i bobbed when i should have weaved and he snuffed me.

Tried again afterwards though and finished lvl101(Vergil) np. Overall loved it, gonna go into grind mode and see about getting my score up.

How did you guys like it?

Yeah, there's 0 fluff in Bloody Palace, even the fight with Bob Barbas is extremely cut short during the normal enemy encounters. It's just bang, end wave, touch beam, new wave. No cutscenes, no Dante face zoom, etc. Awesome.

Use Aquila's Round Trip to trap them, if there are 2 Ghost Rages, throw a Round trip at both of them and whichever one was hit first, throw a double charged version at it, then while one is trapped, focus on the lone one. If you time it right, You can even kill one whilst the other is still trapped, leaving it unable to 'Rage'.

If there are both Rages (Ghost and Demon) just rinse and repeat, trap the Ghost with Aquila and focus on the Demon, every time You hear the Aquila stop, chuck another one.

I love BP though.

Just remember anytime your low on life or anything DT is your friend. Use it anytime you have that "Oh **** I'm Dead" Moment and it will always be clutch.

As for color coated enemies do the same thing. Just don't spaz out after you DT treat them like any other enemy. Rebellion/Arbiter your choice will shred them no problem.

If anyone is interested i can upload a vid on how to handle some of the more annoying mobs. Just let me know.

Dante extreme eye zoom.......I thought i was the only one that was enraged by this. It was sweet the first couple of times, but when your going for score it sucks not being able to skip everything.

^ Yeah, I like the story and I think Dante is an awesome looking guy (He's a cool f*cker) but the amount of mini-cutscenes mixed in with the combat can be annoying. I feel as though Ninja Theory realised because there's literally zero cutscenes except for the Boss encounters, which are even then cut short.

^ Ah so that's what it's known as, 'The Deep Freeze'. Had it happen to Me during Bloody Palace also, it's just an awkward combination of the game registering a successful Demon Evade just as the Angelic Enemy freezes You. Kind of awesome actually.
