If they plan on making a DmC2, then I have dreams about the soundtrack.

I loved Combichrist and Nosia in DmC, though I missed the feel of the previous DMCs.

It would be wonderful of them to pull a Sonic Generations, and do a bunch of kick ass remixes. I don't mean for them to use all of the old music, but for them to pick out the standout tracks that we really remember and remix them. If Vergil were to become Nelo Angelo in this game, then wouldn't it be awesome to hear a heavier and darker Super Ultra Violet? Or to hear a remixed Dante's theme (DMC1)? Or how about a remixed Divine Hate? I understand that this new series is a reboot, but it doesn't mean that they can't do a few kickass nods to the past. They already had the white-wig joke and a few others in DmC, so there is no reason why they can't delight older fans.

Share with me what songs you would like to see remixed!

As long as they keep it dynamic and tied to your actions I don't see why this couldn't be done in a way that satisfying for all fans involved.

If I could get some bands to do some music for a Devil May Cry I'd like to have some.
-Rise Against
-System of A Down
-TOOL
-Breaking Benjamin
-NIN
-Disturbed
-Stone Sour
-Five Finger Death Punch
-Combichrist (they really contributed some cool tunes for this game so they could stay)

I think we can get some cool tracks from bands like this. Some of their songs actually fit quite well with DmC when I was playing my own music.

Wouldn't mind some Linkin Park in there but you peoplz have pretty much said everything I was going to say.

Please add 50 Cent and Lil' Wayne

Linkin Park like, sucks now though. Seriously, what happened to them? After Meteora they went downhill and seemed to totally lose their identity in the process. Meteora was freaking awesome. That whole album was good and Breaking The Habit was my favorite Linkin Park song. Then Minutes to Midnight comes out and it's just like, wtf are you guys doing?

Living things was pretty good

Yeah they haven't really been as good lately however, some songs like Lost in the Echo are well worth checking out. Amazing song. Hybrid Theory has some incredible instrumentals that are still just as amazing as back then in the late 90's. I think the instrumentals would be great to add and a couple from Meteroa. Plus the lyrics have some related-meaning to games themselves like Somewhere I Belong or Papercut.

I would also add Pendulum to the list, though I think they slightly suit DMC4 more due to the fast nature of that game but could still fit in DmC2(assuming the game is just as fast as DMC4)

I'm going to come in with a total agreement here, they said something along the lines of changing styles to keep things fresh but in doing so they lost what made them good to begin with. I digress though.

I'd like to see a Generations-esque remix project for DmC, failing that maybe we could get a style hybrid:

as an example, if done well and more attuned to whatever theme the next DmC game goes with next could be pretty good if you ask me.

That's what Linkin Park did wrong. When their ex. suggested they go for a more traditional instrumental sound they totally just lost what made everyone like them in the first place. Linkin Park had that rock/rap/electronica hybrid going on and it was unlike anything else out there when they first came out with Hybrid Theory. The last song I can remember in recent memory by them that sounded like pure Linkin Park was that New Divide song they did for that Transformers movie. They need to get their sh!t together and go back to their sound they had in Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Especially Meteora because that was an amazing album. Every song on that thing was good.

That was a bad example, perhaps something more of an ambience/electronic sound for outside combat and then switching out the ambience for something a bit heavier.

Hell i'd take a new version of Lock and Load over my suggestion regardless.

How about...
- Skillet
- Flyleaf
- Evanescence
- Red
- Fireflight
- Thousand Foot Krutch
- Kutless
