King Avallach

Deity of the Old World
With several other people doing these type of concepts, I felt that I should do one too.

Here's the start of it.

Characters

Dante: The heir of the majestic and legendary dark knight Sparda. Dante’s powers have increased at an astronomical rate since the incident of Fortuna. The crushing realisation that all he held dear would be used against him at the end. Trish had attacked him in a state of apparent delirium. Whilst Dante defeated her, he did not kill her. A voice surrounded the room. One with which Dante was all too familiar with. HE had returned…

Trish: A woman who was the creation of Mundus. Sickened by her master’s callousness, she sided with Dante during the incident of Mallet Island. She intended to live out her days in a relatively relaxed manner, only springing to action when duty required it, working as a mercenary along with Dante. However, one day, something went wrong. Trish came to Dante’s shop and attacked him. She had no governing over her own body. Under this strange state of delirium she almost killed him but was bested by Dante. Afterwards, she felt the presence lift from her body.

Lady: A fierce, ferocious and fearless human devil hunter. She has stared death in the face many times when getting involved in otherworldly affairs. She is more than happy to work with Dante regularly…for a fee. However, when she heard of Trish’s attack she agreed to help Dante with uncovering and defeating the villain that caused it. Business minded but not cold, she is also a virtually unparalleled markswoman. After killing her despotic father, she has dedicated her life to hunting down evil, be it human or demonic.

Nero: A man of skill who harbours a dark power inside his body. He once sought to stop Dante. However, once the conspiracy of the order that he served was revealed he sided with Dante. His powers have doubled since the incident of Fortuna. Seeking word of Dante, he learns of an attempt on his life though he knows not who’s responsible.

Mundus: The callous, cold and contemptible former ruler of the demon world. He has returned to power and is once more preparing an army to invade the human world. His objective is certain: total domination. He has already made an attempt on Dante’s life. However, the cause of his resurrection is unknown, could a greater force be pulling Mundus’ strings?

Vergil: Another son of Sparda, freed from the shackles of his demonic form. After Dante defeated his demon form, Vergil dematerialised outside of the Demonic domain. However the teleport was too far and he ended up trapped inside the realm which he normally utilised to get from point to point. Now heavily scarred and with revenge on his mind, Vergil is a scarier sight to behold than ever before. His dedication to the honing of his skills has paid off. Needing no weapon as of now, his hand to hand combat skills are even deadlier than when he possessed the Beowulf gauntlets.

Setting:
The grand cathedral.
An otherworldly building that bears all the majesty of any other cathedral but is in fact a labyrinthine building with many confusing corridors, a grand hall, an exterior balcony and dark plains surrounding it and has a dark secret at its heart. The heroes all come here at some point. All with a personal vendetta, one of which will change the course of the world. The heroes must watch their step as it’s not just another seemingly endless tide of enemies that halts their advance but a number of sadistic traps designed by the architect of the preternaturally morbid structure.

The Plains:

Fields surrounding the grand cathedral. Once relatively desolate, now they are inhabited by demons of motley variety and huge quantities. The plains also feature several mazes and a coliseum.
