I'm heavily betting on Nero 'cus it gives a proper explanation for the boy's past. I mean, Mundus did create Trish "somehow" but it would be odd that she would look like Dante's mother (who has black hair now btw) after being the daughter of Mundus and Lilith who have no real relation to her whatsoever.

Wasn't there a thread about this already or was it a discussion that happened on another thread?

I'd hope for one of the two since the idea of Mundus' child betraying him for Dante seems like a cool concept but I guessing, at the same time, it'll just be some creature, like the baby in Catherine.

Yep. He banged a demon chick named Lilith and instead of being an ass and walking out on her, she stayed with Lilith and decided to be both the god of Limbo city and the demon realm, and a supporting father.

Everytime I think of Mundus and Lilith, I always think Mundus was gonna walk out on Lilith and become her baby-daddy...Now this song popped into my head.

Hmmm, if I remember correctly, someone here said that Mundus looks like Arakam from DMC3, who was LAdy's dad. Plue both have heterochromia (Different color eyes) as well.

I guess it's gonna be something different.

The baby will probably grow up faster than normal ( still inside of Lilith's womb). Actually, I don't see Lilith as a boss in this game. It's weird fighting against a pregnant demon ( even if we're talking about demons).

My theory is that the demon will kill Lilith for the inside, revealing himself a complete and grown up hybrid.

We don't know what Lilith is exactly. I think she might be a normal human, or an angel.

Hmmm interesting theory, but according to the achievement Dante finishes the child off.

To the guy above, you have to remember that this is a completely new series. There's nothing connecting the old DMCs and this new one. In the end, Lady is just a name they're giving to reference the old series for a little bit of continuity.

DMC4 retconned Trish into a shapeshifter. She only looks like Dante's mother because she feels like it; she could look like anybody, and there's no telling what she looked like when Mundus first created her. So NT could adopt that with Mundus' spawn. Like, the spawn morphs into a leather-clad demonic version of Eva just to mess with Dante's head during the boss fight. Would be wicked.
