Mrrandomlulz'z character reviews episode 1: The Dante we didn't love

Hello everypony, your host Mrrandomlulz here with a brand new series, Mrrandomlulz character reviews.


Today we are going to discuss one of the most controversial characters of this gaming generation, the so called "Sorry excuse for a" replacement of a character we all grew up with and loved.

Dante here is.... honestly, not what everyone expected him to be, but did not meet the standards that the original character set.

First and foremost, lets talk about the personality of the character, I'm going to be completely true to my opinion here, the haters were right. He is a dick. A big one at that.

Even at the end of the game, the only reason he didn't slaughter his own brother in cold blood was because Kat told him not to. And he seemed to barely care that his brother had just opened a portal to personal eternal damnation and jumped in..

But I will give him props for having the balls to tell Mundus that he was "screaming like one of your bitches". Honestly if I wanted to **** a ****ing demon king off I would've just kicked him in the balls and ran.
Anyway, his personality develops and we see him become less and less of a dick as the game progresses, but as stated in the spoiler, if you looked closely at that ONE CUTSCENE. He turns right back into a dick.
I have to admit, I didn't really see much of the original Dante in him

Unless you count that slap in the face towards fans.

While a dick, he is a loveable dick.

Dante can be amazing with one liners and absolutely hilarious at times.

Yep, agreeing with what you say, not sure what else to add. Yep, he does rub people up the wrong way straight out of the gate, but he's grown on me. I even like it when he's being an ass. There's just something I find weirdly charming about it.
I also like how he does grow as a character. I'd be worried if he stayed the same after going through that.

Honestly if I wanted to **** a ******* demon king off I would've just kicked him in the balls and ran.
