More Hits With Trillion Stab...... ?!

So i was playing the demo (like always) and this time i tried to take a different approach with the harpies, i usually fight them in the sky, using Angel Evade, Angel Lift, Rebellion and Osiris to kill them without hitting the ground.

As i said above this time i tried to take different approach so i used Helm's Breaker to bring them down and followed it up with Trillion Stab but to my surprise this time around Trillion Stab lasted a lot longer ! So i took a look at my ranking system and i was at SS so i tried it once again on another harpy and i got the same result !

So i messed around with the enemies at one of the secret missions and it seems that the higher your style rank is the more hits you'll do with Trillion Stab ! Just go to that secret mission that wants you to get an S rank in 2 minutes and try Trillion Stab with both B and A rank and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I don't remember moves being modified by your rank... I thought it was just if you button mash the move lasts longer.

Hey sawyer try not mashing the triangle button when he is doing the trillion stab. If he is still doing it then what you say is must be true.

I'm gonna try that but i think i should point something out first, even if you mash the button on lesser ranks it won't give you that much hits when you do it on higher ranks.

Just try it once and you'll understand what I'm saying. First try it on B then on A or S rank.

I just tried what you said and no without mashing the button you'll get the same hits on any rank but as i said before mashing button on higher ranks gives you more hits I'm certain cause i just tried it.

I know about that feature (I've finished all DMC games ) but as Darigion said it in old DMC games you would have get more hits regardless of your rank, but it seems that in DmC the higher your rank is the more hits you can get by mashing the button on Trillion Stab

This is of topic but I just found out that if you demon pull then demon kick the the harpies while it was doing the spinning ball attack, you wont take damage even when it release its attack. Really cool and useful.

Wish there were more million stab like moves, the fists shoulda had one. Wonder if the style rank affects any other moves.

Yeah i was wondering about that as well, so far i can't find any other move with this feature in the demo but i think Tornado should have something along this lines as well.

Yeah, it's true, it's a modest speed boost, but I haven't noticed it, really, too busy just fighting >.< It's one thing mentioned that has never changed, along with the enemies apparently becoming more aggressive. It's like, you got that high rank, now you gotta keep it from them.
