Male Angels?

So far, all the pics of angels we have seen are all of female ones.
Do you think there will be male ones in DmC ( like Angelo Creedo) ?
If so, what kind of roles are you expecting them to have?

Angelo Credo wasn't even close to a angel. Even Nero knew that on sight. (Those toes sure are menacing)
It was actually a bird like humanoid demon formed out of a ritual, that had a white hue out of coincidence.
 
Maybe vergil will absorb mundus' powers to increase his demonic powers,in order to defeat Dante. Renaming himself "Nelo Angelo". Or somewhere along those lines.

Angelo credo had the vibe of an angel
and the toes and other details were included to give a sense of corruption
 
Maybe there'll be angels that have known Eva. Azrael can be a good ally to Dante in the next game.
 
The game seems to be focused primarily on demons so Eva will probably be the only Angel mentioned in this game but other Angels (male and female) might show up in later games.

(And Angelo Credo was a demon that looked like an angel)

I mean, I know there is nothing really left to discuss, but if there is nothing to discuss, then why not go and do something productive?

I don't think the angels in the club were real angels. They're just dressed up to be.

But male stripper angels....:blush:

I mean, yeah it must be possible. There must be male angels (of the non-stripper sort) otherwise how do angels repopulate?
 
self righteous asses, i see male angels as your typical prince-charming kind of people. so sure of the right thing they never question themselves or their actions. they see the world in black and white. theyre good. demons are bad. anyone who gets in their way is therefore with the demons and must be treated as such. theyre goals are noble but they care little for lesser beings ie humans only showing pity for us for being so weak. they look like this

I think angels will be the antagonists in the next game and maybe vergil will take their side

It might turn out that in the end Mundus reveals that he never killed Eva, instead, Eva was killed by the angels as a way to punish her for marrying a demon and producing an impure child. ( Kind of like underworld: rise of the lycans)
I would really like if the killer turns out to be Eva's father (who had to kill her unwillingly, by order of higher ranked angels), who is keen on killing Dante at first, but in the end cant find it in his heart to kill his own Grandson.

perhaps but without him wussing out at the end. i want Evas extended family and friends. all hating dante and blaming HIM and Vergil for what happened to Eva. Saying they left them no choice but to end her before she fell further into sin. and maybe one of them doesnt agree and helps dante. itd make an interesting tale.

OH SNAP! He got ya there, dude.

On topic, knowing that the nightclub stage is the 13 mission, we can be sure as hell that the missions before that (at least in between Poison and Barbas) are going to be extremely focused on the past. While the last missions will be focused on the future.

I find it interesting that angel!Eva has black hair, but Dante has a Devil trigger. While Sparda has white hair, but Vergil is....? Food for thought.
 
The more I see of the game, the more I wonder if angels are going to play any important roles whatsoever. You'd think we'd have seen some as badass as the demons by now, but so far they've been basically pretty decoration. If they turn out to be more, there'll probably be males. I'm hoping they'll be like the ones in Bayonetta, beautiful but distinctly inhuman, and their general absence explained by the demons having such total control over Limbo City. Like maybe once Dante rousts Mundus's seat of control, the angels take over command of Limbo and things either improve...or the story hints at new treachery to come.
 
i hope angels are actually a big part of the story and not saved for the sequel given that Eva being angel was a reveal before the game came out. if they arent that makes the Eva reveal unnecessary.

i rather have learned that from the game itself like a plot twist rather than it being prior knowledge.
 
Seeing that Dante delves deep into whatever happened when he was a kid, you can bet that Eva is going to be a big part of it.
