If you haven't played Kingdom Hearts at ALL, you should get these HD remixes. If you haven't played KH 2 nor Birth By Sleep, then this is the best place to start. The story and the gameplay were always superb. Don't mind the Disney characters, they don't outweigh the awesomeness of the Final Fantasy characters nor the original characters of Kingdom Hearts.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm going back into that world in the next 2 hours. Wanna know why? The game is 30$! That's right THIRTY DOLLARS.
