Billed as an all-new take on the Justice league as you never seen them before, this is an alternate universe where Superman isnt Clark Kent, Batman isnt Bruce Wayne, nor WW is Diana of the Amazons. They have an uneasy relationship with the public/government over their "rambunctious" approach to upholding justice so when a mystery unfolds with their fingerprints all over it, The justice league has to go clear their names.

I've been interested in alternate takes as Batman Beyond and X-men evolution were how i started and I havent been interested in the recent New 52 dtvs or marvel animated stuff so this got me excited. I am concerned about the darker tone and the notion of how far is too far with revamps etc.

So any thoughts?

I think it's refreshing, besides that

I really liked the shorts they did for the movie. Don't know if I'll ever get to watch it though, stuff like that usually takes time to come out in germany.

I wish it was a legit show on adult swim :blush:.

Which was your favorite ?

Actually they have more content planned, like a 4 issue comic series detailing how they met and a season 2 next year.

Oh sorry, I thought you missed them, I personally liked the Superman one the most, which is weird for me because I actually don't really care about the character to begin with. Well it's not Clark Kent Superman but the son of Zodd as far as I've read so that might be part of it.

I really hope that this move gets to germany, it really looks promising, and it's made by Bruce Timm, that alone is a reason to watch it I think. The man worked on a lot of my favourite childhood cartoons afterall!

Err.... I'm not too sure on this version of the show, I liked the Harley Quinn short though.

yeah its cool.

Funny thing is the superman short is my favorite because its so poignant, the WW one is second because its pretty funny/lighthearted and im not really a fan of the Batman one (not sure why)

same here man because i grew up with batman beyond and the two justice league cartoons are my favorite so as long as it has that level of nuance it will be fine.
