you didn't know aeris was a love interest to Cloud???? i got lost at the whole "mother" sequence, cuz the only thing on my mind was "wtf!?" i just can't see her as a mother figure, especially to people like Kadaj

:lol: I was always confused at the fact from when after I watched the movie! I wonder why Kadaj said that she even was his mother. Becuase, at the end, when Cloud, Yazoo, and Loz blew up, he was in the area of white. Aerith came and held her hand upon his head. He said "Mother" So, why did he say that?

No idea... I hate that whole concept anyways, it threw the storyline off a lot for me.

And, it was quite confusing too. Reall, Kadaj is confused. Aerith, mother, whatever she is, I am sticking to her being Cloud's girlfriend.
