Is Vergil Aquaman?

Is this a fad in games now??

Damn, Vergil sucks.

Oh wait...

No he doesn't.

Ironically enough, this is what I hear about Vergil (especially during the Mundus boss fight).

Anyway, I just wanted to point out the (rather eerie) similarities between the two.

-Both have whitish, stylized brushed back hair.

-Almost identical facial structure.

-Weird, but still somewhat badass costumes.

-Both are considered essentially useless, therefore should be hated.

Makes me really want Vergil to do something (in the DLC) similar to what Aquaman is doing in the second pic to literally make people think twice before considering him not dangerous.

No kidding. I couldn't place the ''summoned swords'' hand movement, but you pretty much summed it up for me. I knew I had seen that type of motion before, I just didn't know where.

Heh, I haven't seen the Family Guy version yet, I'll go take a look now.

Edit:

lol, why does everyone hate him??

I just saw this other version as well, it was also pretty good.

''Dante, do something!''

Wow, the comparisons just keep piling up. :steve:

lol I thought the same thing when I saw the Aquaman Injustice trailer.
Also, MAYBE AQUAMAN IS SPARDA!!!
*M. Night Shymalaan

Glad to see that I wasn't the only one who thought that he looks like Vergil.

However, I bet Sparda himself would actually look kind of like this.

It's too bad that both Vergil and Aquaman seem to be getting the short end of the stick. Not only with "appearances" (like not being tough-looking enough, etc.) but also with "powers" as well (both are considered weak, and not having enough super-abilities when compared to their counterparts (Dante/Superman)).

At least his combos look good. And I think I have found Vergil's "potential" version of Osiris (Aquaman spear). I know he probably won't get a spear, but it's nice to be able to imagine him actually getting more weapons instead of getting stuck with just Yamato.

"I'm the King of Atlantis. I answer to no one!"

Seriously, this guy is almost exactly like Vergil (who also wanted to become a king...)

Too bad he had to answer to Dante... I've always wondered what would have happened if Vergil had actually won...

On an added note:

They should keep this "Armored Aquaman" as his official costume. It looks so much better than the one in the comics.

Ahh, Vergil... the Aquaman of DmC. Highly misunderstood, and only a threat once you cross him.
