Yeah, I was thinking about that trophy and just watched the Adam Sessler review for God of War:A for sh*ts and giggles and after I stopped watching I suddenly thought about DmC because the changes the game made did cause some controversy(only because the fans let it be). That got me thinking that if the game had a trophy like that instead of GOW, what would've happened? I know it would made people outside the community even more mad, but what about you guys, would yall have been offended just like how the rest of them were or would you still have supported the game?

And as for me....:lol:....no, I wouldn't be offended one bit. Even if I was a girl I still wouldn't be offended. (no offense to any girl here.)

As for the trophy, as a woman I don't care. It's just a word. Like saying 'siters over misters' or something like that. The word 'hoe' is only offensive if you let it be. Besides, a man can be called a whore the same as a woman can, so it makes no difference to me.

Sure, if a guy called a woman a 'hoe' or something offensive like that in real life, I would be angry; but this is a game. Heck, I don't even care about God of war 3's sex minigame. I found that amusing playing through it. Now surely people would find that minigmae more offensive to women than the title of a trophy?

I'm offended that those oversensitive feminist b***hes got the minigames taken out of God of War, I do love and respect women, but when they screw with my games, I wanna kick the s**t out of those feminists. If publishers & developers continue to be soft and let feminists get to them and their games then I weep for the future of gaming.

I didn't think that anyone got the minigame taken out? Did they? They just go the name of the trophy changed. Heck, I don't see the fuss. It's a game.

But who said it was feminsists that did it? Maybe it was the mothers of chidren who played the game? The again, these parents shouldn't be letting young teenagers play GOW anyway, but that's a different rant.

But there's no need to call them b!tches or wanting to kick the sh!t out of them. It solves nothing and does actually give them the excuse to carry on saying 'men want to kick the sh!t out of us, so all men are violent and dangerous; we don't need them in our society'. Besides, there are different kinds of feminist and not all hate God of war games or are extreme nutjobs of the 'kill all men' kind....that just makes me shudder a person could think like that.>_< Some of them are just nutjobs who will make a complaint about anything.
Kinda like that loony on this forum a few months ago that wrote this huge post about how DmC 'hated' women and how Dante molested Kat by walking out of the trailer naked....yeah, that's not molestation.....and no, Mundus was not raping Lilith just because they did it doggy style. Sometimes I wonder what goes on in the heads of people like this if they can make all that crap up about a game.

Blame the game developers for giving in to pressure. I bet not a lot of people complained, just a very loud few. Developers should stick to what they want to do. It just makes the developers look weak if they cave to the pressure of 10- 20 people.

What I hate is people getting oversensitive about silly things. Extremeist religious people complaining over games...people complaining over sexuality, depictions of sex, violence....

It would just be one more thing about the game quickly complained about and then forgotten just as quickly. I don't think it would be a big deal.
