theres a new devil may cry 5. ive already completed the new devil may cry 4 :\

Im really confused, where does nero come from? Anyway
im pretty new to the devil may cry series, number 4 is the only one ive played, i know it explains the story at the start of the game, but i still dont get it,>_<

I'd recommend you surfing the web for the Devil May Cry storyline. The chronological order is DMC3 -> DMC -> DMC4 -> DMC2...

Dudes... its just noob confusion...

As of yet there is no DMC 5.
We recommend you have a wiki look about the other DMCs. Everyone here is confused as to where Nero comes from and his relivence so dw, you're not alone.

Basically...

Dante = Half demon, half human... son of Sparda. He runs around, saves the world from demons.

Vergil = Dante's Twin brother, "killed" in 3rd game.

Trish = demon created by Mundus in the first game. Demon hunter chick, looks alot like Dante's mother and pretends to be te heavily underdressed Gloria.

Lady = Demon hunter, human, from 3rd game... Works a lot with Dante in anime.

Nero = Dude, looks a lot like Vergil and Dante.. Relivence Unknown. Is obviously part demon... blah blah
